Hey I graduated Magna *** laude in Electrical Engineering and I play video games so that is no excuse.

I think I will have to see if I can fit my card table in the car along with a couple chairs because I don't want to sit on the floor. To bad I don't have my truck any more or I would bring my Herman Miller Aeron chair

I don't think my P4 1.5Ghz will be slowing us down much.

I'll be there. It looks like Vegas might fall through for me in favor of Spring Break in March. As I said before, I can hook us up with a 16 and/or 32 port 3Com superstack swtich and PCI NIC cards for anyone that doesnt have one. To play games, it really doesnt take a whole lot of config, basically just plug and play. We need to get a list of games we want to play, and who has what, in advance so that we can find means of making sure everybody has a copy.

I'll bring my desktop for playing, and my laptop for whatever is needed (server, disc duplication, etc. . .). Got room for my clear case?

Theres lots of room, and we can move stuff as needed. We can even put a board over the fooseball table to use that too. I have 11 chairs from the tables in the house so you should be ok there Chad. But card tables might not be a bad idea. Gonna need that router too Chris. I have no idea what my computer speed will be. I havent decided what to build yet. But the wife told me today that I could build one for my birthday present. Gonna be big, that much I promise.

Now what about games? I would like to try a flight sim with a bunch of us in the game, and maybe a team game of Warcraft 3. I have never played quake, but I have played Doom, and they are close. Anybody have something they just HAVE TO PLAY?? If so bring it up. I also have a copy of NHRA dragracing, but I'm not sure it is LAN ready. I will have to check into that. That would be cool to play. Like I said before, Debler needs to make the CZ28 game LAN ready, we could play that

Anyway, Quentin, you should be seeing the Fed Ex man tomorrow morning by 10:30 am with your "package."

Tell your brother thanks for giving me the business, I appreciate it immensely! If they have any questions, direct them to me.

Awesome! Feb 15th eh? That's my B-Day!
I'll be 24.....man.....time flies.

I don't think I'll be getting a new PC for x-mas - but I will make plans to have a new PC for my Bday.

Hey PhantomTA, so I shouldn't bring my bits-o-pieces of a 466mhz P2? Too slow? If everything goes fine, I'll have a 2ghz by then.

I also have a router I can bring over..... if needed.

Yeah, depending on the setup we may only be as fast as the slowest computer..

im not sure about this, but it may be best to try and find an actual server that will serve us the games so we dont get lagged down

But you're a guy so it's different...

Besides, I've also been working and freelancing and somewhere in there trying to fit in having a life...

True, that makes us better at video games naturally.

I was working full time when I was going to school also, how do you think I was able to buy my car brand new as a graduation present to myself?

Hey guys, I've been out of town for a few days, so I am coming into this late. Can I play?

I have a Athlon 2000+ (1625mhz) so I shouldn't slow ya down much...

Also, how will the games be handled..do we need to each come up with a copy of the games beforehand? Perhaps this was answered, but I missed it.

Sounds like a good time, I'll be looking forward to meeting you guys at someplace different than the starting lin
