Overall it was a good show, still trying to figure out if it was really worth the 2.5 hour drive out there (compared to Detroit's Autorama, atleast, which is pretty hard to top in such a small building like that) but it was still fun to atleast go and say I've been there once now. Some of the cars you guys will probably recognize, and Scott Q's (DreamerQ's) 4th gen was absolutely amazing looking in person That paint job was mint!

Thanks....it does look really good. Much better in person. The show this year was actually pretty good. Something like 40ish more cars then in the past. At least its a move in the right direction.

Yeah, unfortunately my camera really sucks in that lighting, although I probably could've changed some setting in the camera... just don't know what setting it was! Haha. Anyway, yeah Scott that car is VERY VERY nice! I went over to it a few times just drooling at that paint job; and I really like the red accent on the vents and door switches... looks pretty cool and unique. Keep up the good work, buddy!

Re: Grand Rapids Autorama 2006 (56k warning)

Well, it is actually "broken in" motor wise. Spring is gonna be fun. The best part was leaving the building. I decided to drive it back to the shop, and of course we left the top down. And little did most people realize, but it was open headers sitting there Talk about loud, driving thru downtown GR with open headers, the top down and 32 degree weather. WOO HOO.

And Meissen, last name is Scott, first name is Q Someone screwed up my sign at the show.

Hmm...I shoulda went instead of falling asleep on Sunday! I didn't know it was going on until Saturday night. I would have liked to seen Matt Berger's green Dick Harrell car. He was telling me about all the problems they had getting the kandy green paint on the car at the Camaro concept unveiling. HOK had to reformulate the paint to make it work right they were having so many problems and even the HOK guys couldn't spray it and make it look right.

Yeah, I overheard him talking to one of the guys I was with, they had to paint it like 3 times or something to get the paint to look right. Amazing looking car, though.
