Help I Got Ripped Off!
#19
Guys first let me say I shipped some stuff from Mich to my house in California and it got lost. It took them about 5 months to find it. When they did it was damaged. I am just saying this because it is possible it is lost. Next I have seen this guy buying up stuff on ebay. One day he bid on like 6 or 7 xbox's. I don't know if he ripped you off or not but from what I have seen him buy he may not have. I am a older guy and will be happy to take a ride with some of you by his house to talk to him. Nothing more than talk tho. Maybe if a older person talks to him we can work something out. Let me know if you want me to go.

this guy has gotten lots of negative feedback about products not arriving or being damaged or him not sending the money for something he won on ebay. the guy sounds like a crook to me. this is a snippet of an email he replied to me a couple months ago after i threatend to take him to court:
Hi Travis, i have been studying law for the past 9 years of my life. and the fact of the matter is that i know a thing or two. first of all you have no contract with me. as in ebay is a legal binding contract you bid you win and it is guaranteed, however you don't have that. i have tried cases that involve cars people have bought and turned out to be lemons, and that was over Ebay. and the verdict in all of these cases, is buyer beware next time don't buy without first inspecting.
sounds like hes almost admitting that he ripped me off

Call up his house and leave a message, no threats.
Send him an email and give him a week to call you and send you a refund.
If he does not comply, and he lives at home with parents, stop by around dinner time and talk to his parents I'm sure they will be upset at his actions.
Stopping by the house works pretty well.
If he mailed it out, he must have a receipt, and insurance is like $1.00 so he's lying because he probably does not have the money.

No doubt stuff gets lost in the mail, but if he actually did not insure it well it's his LOSS not yours, you never got the product.
Call him up and tell him you have a local buddy who will stop by and pick up the cash so can buy another spoiler. Or leave a detailed message with his parents.
Most scammers freak out because either the family gets pissed or they fear for the vehicles on the driveway.
Last situation like this in Chi a guy's car got all fugged up because he pissed off like 3-4 folks I'd hate to see stuff like that happen all because of a spoiler.
