I've ordered some stuff but haven't installed anything. I need a heater for my garage.

I bought the Coleman radiant heater that clips to a standard propane tank. You can get them at Home Deopot. I think it was about $80. Works awesome. You can move it whereever you want, and it throws off plenty of heat. I did my valvetrain change this winter in 10 degree weather, and it kept me toasty. I even had to turn it off a few times it got so hot.

Re: How's your winter project going?

The heads I bought have been ported, the valve angles and seats are being done now.

I talked to Comp Cams and got a cam # 230/240 540/540 112LSA

Went to the local Speed Shop(Feduns) and ordered the Cam,Springs,Retainers,Locks and Pushrods, plus Felpro#HS59966PT gasket kit.

I need to buy a set of 36lb hr injectors, electric WP,3.73 gears and a Delteq set up.

I hope to be done by the end of May.

Good luck with your project Harold.

BTW if you read this Harold,do you still have my DSS Loop?

mine is starting to come back together! just have to install Hogan intake, heads are done and installed, lemon headers are on, and new camshaft is in. also have to re install the trans, and one shock one it is replaced, thanks to f'n UPS losing it! wtf is up with that!

would love to find a good used 9" centersection for 35 splined axles to throw some 4.71 gears into!

Mine needs some 112 octane in the cell. I'm letting the speed shop hold the new 14X32X15 Goodyear Eagles until spring. Then it's Wheels up and shooting for 10's

My heads will be off in about a week or two and on their way to the hands of Lloyd Elliot. In the mean time, have to collect the rest of the parts I need for the 'ol h/c swap.

Naw, he went deer hunting with his car! It's the second or third cruiser that's been smashed by a deer this season for Meridian Township.

Re: How's your winter project going?

Looking good Dan!

My car is in so many pieces right now I hope I can remember how it all goes back together again.

Put it this way, there will be more stuff modified on this beast come spring time than there is stock stuff on it.
