Looking to get rid of used antifreeze???Where

I'm looking to get rid of some used auto antifreeze. My dad has a small shop and has been storing it for a few years now....we have upwards of 2 55 gallon drums now. Was wondering if anyone knew of any local place to Lansing area or others that I could get rid of it for a minimal fee, or free. No questions asked would be good also since there are some legal issues with licensing of toxic waste storage that were never done in the first place. Let me know if you know of anywhere. thanks

Oh...we have an oil burner so I will swap this stuff for used oil also...or if anyone has some sitting around they want to get rid of let me know. Any amount as long as it isn't contaiminated with other ****, is ok.

Believe it or not, municipal wastewater treatment plants can treat the ethyl glycol. You could call the Lansing plant or surrounding towns and see if they would take it for treatment.

NEVER put into storm drains. I'll admit, I've done this in the past.

Here's some good reading......

while they wont take 110 gallons, any auto store will take a few gallons of used coolant. you could just make your rounds and give some to every auto store around until its gone. hopefully RRRR's way works out though. or maybe an auto store could point you to where will take large quantities.

none of our local parts stores take it.
our local landfill has a hazardous waste day once or twice a year and they take it
