My bro inlaw wants to sell his 87z28 and it's emaculent. i think he is asking $8000.00 for it, again this car is beeeeaaauuuutiful in every aspect of an automobile. since he bought it in i think 98 it had 60,000 miles on it and now it has around 72,000, since his ownership we have done a TPIS miniram and ZZ9 cam with 24lb injectors and edelbrock heads and hooker shorties (coated), a rebuilt 700r4 and a referbished 10bolt with an eaton posi and 3.73 gears. if anyone is interested call his cell phone @ 586-212-3873 and ask for Joe.

 

Timberwolf, thats a good find. Anything wrong with it besides the occasinal smokey starts? Like what kind of damage is done to the body? Rust?

1Bad86z, that sounds like an incrediable car but my brother was looking for something more lower in price. I'm sure if he had the money though he would get that, hell, i would get that.

 

Eric, mainly what little rust there is present s on the hatch under the wing. The car is actually very solid and runs strong. Interior is decent too. I know at one point he was looking to replace the headliner. Can't recall if he did or not.

 

I have seen Al's car and it is Nice for the year. I would buy that sucker in a new york minute if I had the cash.

I saw a 83' Z for sale at Wild Woody's on Sunday. They wanted $4000 o.b.o. It was nice with an auto, body looked very clean. If I see it again this week driving by there I will stop and get the number.

 

I have heard a rumor that Andys IROC might be up for sale He told me at superfest he was thinking about it.You might want to get with him on the price though.I would'nt have a clue what to tell you for that part of it.

My car is in pretty good shape in my opinion. The rust under the wing is just the hangers in the wing, not really the rear hatch at all. The drivers door sags some, but don't most? Um, I see a few rust flakes on the door sill from time to time so I assume there is a hint under there. Otherwise, the paint has faded some over the years, a few minor dings, nothing that even broke paint though....could probably use some shocks, maybe brade pads and shoes...the headliner is there but could use replacing....
