LS1 Brake conversion for sale locally

$175 I’m in Saginaw Township. I’m not making any money at this price, actually I’m loosing money. They cost me $199 with the shipping I had to pay.

I bought these off Ebay and before they even arrived at my house, I found a pair of Bob Bishop brackets (which aren’t being made anymore) and did a C5 conversion instead.

I can’t guarantee the parts, as I haven’t even had them on, but I can get you the Ebay listing if you need it. Everything looks fine. I put some work into one of the spindles and abutment bracket, sanding it and wheeling it, then priming it with a coat of rust preventative primer. Everything is ready to bolt on and go. The build date on one caliper is 2000, and the other is 2002, so these are late model LS1 brakes. If you need any more info, please reply. The 2000 caliper had more corrosion on it than the 2002 caliper but I wheeled most of it off and it looks fine. You buy these as is. As far as I can tell, they look like they will work as expected.

Hello,

I am very interested in buying this.

I am located in Ohio. I know you said locally but would you be willing to ship to Ohio? If not maybe we can arrange something.

Thanks
Kevin

Well, UPS shipping is $75 to Ohio. The parts weigh 100 lbs, and it's $75 shipping, calculating the cost for ground shipping on UPS's website.

I would really prefer local, because they are going to be a pain to package well enough that they won't destroy the box, or themselves during shipping.

Dan,
I don't know if this would work but: I am going to pick up a car in Ohio on sunday. I could meet keebler if he is by Dayton. I guess I would be a so called middle man.

I'd love to see that car if you get it. I've always wanted to check out a SC Z28. I looked at buying the Powerdyne before, and while it's limited in it's top HP output, it's very quiet, which I like.

The guy didn't call me back until 9:15 on saturday night. I went and picked the car up and trailered it home. It runs damn good. You can hear the powerdyne more than I expected. Sorry we couldn't make your deal work.

No problem. Maybe I'll shoot over some day and see the new ride. I REALLY want another dyno day like last year. I bet you'd like to strap that new ride on the dyno too. Glad you like it. So you sold in the SS truck?

Dan,
You can come see it whenever you want. I may take it to the shop that had dyno day and get it dyno tuned just to be on the safe side. I still have the Silverado SS. I actually trailered the formula home with it.
