Question M-8 event

It has been posted on a couple other boards due to the national event there will be no m-8 event. Jason can you please verify? It would be appreciated.

They're seperate things. The "M" events are GM only, while the "National" event is for anyone that is a member of this board.

They are both gonna happen.

I heard that Jason's not going to be in charge of an M-event this year (due to the Nat'l event). So if it's still happening then someone else must be handling it.

Did I hear you volunteering?

I appreciate you guys looking into this for me. I just know it was posted on our message board that the nationals would replace the m-8 event. I have yet heard or seen this confirmed just assumed. I appreciate the effort. I know a lot of us in the Grand Rapids area look forward to this event every year. It would be ashame not to see it happen. I see there's a Gm event in August at Mid Michigan, but I'm pretty sure this is being put on by a car club. I just really have enjoyed the m events and would hate to see them end. Even if you have to freeze to be there. LOL Thanks again.

I have not determined as of yet if the National Event will take the place of the M events. Next weekend, Chris and I are going to talk about everything.

Jason and Chris, I'm sure that folks would be willing to lend a hand and help out if that's what it takes to make both events happen.

Whaddaya say, guys, who is willing to help? Show of hands!

Jason I understand that trying to run two events would be extremely time consuming and understand if you do not want to take that on. I appreciate the fact you have been doing this the past few years. I think that having a national event for the Camaros and Firebirds is an excellent idea, and will miss the m events. They have always been a lot of fun. As I'm sure your nationals will be. Thanks for the response.

I'll raise my hand, but then maybe we could have M-8 over here at US131 dragway.

Keep it at Mid-Michigan Motorplex.

I would be more then willing to help Jason. Rippers_Evil_Twin (Larry) and I (Eric) live about 20 minutes from Stanton and would be more then happy to help set stuff up with you.
