I have been to 4 M events I think and loved them all. I would be willing to do whatever I can to help. Most here know I am not well and do not work but I am willing to help anyway I can. Jason and Chris have there hands full and I understand if it is to much for them to do two events. If they would like for someone else to step up and run the event using the z28.com M event name I would be willing to help whoever.

Who was able to run 10's at Stanton without a cage? I remember the announcer saying that if you didn't have a roll bar to keep it above 12.0 US131 is an IHRA track so you can run down to 11.50 without needing a roll bar.

Mid Michigan has always been pretty good about letting you guys run with out cages... Maybe not as much last year as in years past. I know of a corvette and camaro both running 10's with no cages and neither was spoken too. You would also have to pass tech at 131 which may limit quite a few rather then just fill out a card and sign you name on a piece of paper. I'm all for legal just pointing out the differences between the 2 tracks. I do know that for the camaro event they held this past summer for Berger 131 wasn't as strict as they are the rest of the time. You just get a much "friendly" attitude at Mid Michigan. Trust me I know of a lot of folks you would rather travel an hour and half to go to Mid michigan then deal with 131 and John. Just my two cents.

Hey Dave, if it comes down to Jason not being able to put it on, I'll help you out with it.
My vote is to keep it at Stanton. The M events have a good history and working relationship with the track.

Not trying to crap in anyone's wheaties, just trying to point out there are differences. (track wise) Stanton and Mary Jo would be my vote...

There is no question that the events will remain in Stanton. They take great care of us.

And as far as help...where the heck were you guys the last 7 years?

Pretty funny, isn't it? I have seen a few of you do impressions of me at an M event.

"Everything cool?"
"Having a good time?"
"How is the track"
"Whoops...be right back, I gotta go talk to this other guy real quick..."
