well I have zero exper. with chryslers, but there's always a crank sensor and ign. module. also, you need to make sure you have power at the ign. module and coill as well as a good ground.

good luck

also what if the timing belt broke would you still get spark if every thing else was working before it broke.

chryslers havent use ignition modules in quite a while, coil/coil pack/s is/are controlled direct from PCM

Re: Need a certified mechanics help.

OK, you will have spark without a cam sensor signal, cam sensor on DCX cars is pretty much for fuel sync only(ignition is coil pack, waste spark type)

ok, just to rule it out, on the pass side of the motor at the front, pull 4 or 5 10mm head bolts from the top of the black timing belt cover and bend the top to the front and have someone crank it, you should see everything turning

can you hear the fuel pump prime?(FP relay is powered by the ASD relay, which powers the coil pack)

do you have access to a scanner that will hook up to it?

Re: Need a certified mechanics help.

Have you checked the codes yet?

Click the key to the "run" position 3 times and the SES light on the dash should flash he codes.

Not sure if you have ever done this before - so I add this example to follow:

2 short flashes (2 second pause) and 1 short flash = code 21
Long pause
Code repeats itself
Long pause
Next code

actually, it is just barely possible to get the new belt on with the lower pully on

I hope you put a new water pump on when you had it apart
