new best time at milan today w/my 95Z

it went 13.91@98mph. im glad I finally got it into the 13.s. goin 14's sucks. thats why I didnt race it at all last year. now I need to actually install the headers/ypipe Ive head for 2 summers and hopefully drop another couple tenths. I was very impressed w/milans starting line tonight. it hooked great. I pulled 2 1.99's and one 2.03 sixty w/no wheelspin at all off the line. I wish I would have brought the Iroc out tonight instead. prolly could have got a few low 1.8 sixty's w/that starting line. maybe next wed. I'll go back w/the Iroc.

Wow I been thinking of getting a LT1 4th gen, but really if you think about it they're not that much faster than the old L(8. Maybe a few more mods for me and I'll convince myself to keep the slow 3rd gen

Congrats on the PB

Lightbulb Corngrats Chris!

I remember my FIRST 13.89 run many years ago. It was done after a few passes of 14.0X's and I was THRILLED! Other LT1
racers came over and looked at my dial and went WOW! This was a few years ago, when 13's weren't as common to get as now.

By the way... so far I love the welded open rear carrier I got from you. She moans a little bit while turning and the inside tire slips alot but overall, one of the best things you can do to an all out drag car!

Good job with the camaro Chris, its about time you took it from Kelly and took it to the track. Oh by the way THANKS FOR CALLING ME AND TELLING ME YOU WERE GOING! I would have gone and taken a dodge. Thanks for pointing out just how much 14's suck now I'm even more depressed about my 14.2 I guess its time to make it a little quicker Maybe the new tranny will help me some. Good job.

hink, glad to hear that rear is working out. I guess the only question is how long will it last?

mike, yeah, they really arent that much faster stock to stock, but I think the biggest diff. is you dont have to install an exp. intake mann. to go fast, but you will need an exp. opti sometime or another. I warrentied mine when I bought tthe car. what kind of times is yours running? I know you dont have much done to it mod wise. werent these Irocs like mid 15 sec. cars bone stock? I never raced one that was even close to stock. another good diff. is they pull nicely to 6000 rpm, instead of falling on there faces at 4800. that means more fun time.

john, my cell phone was dead again. sorry, didnt know I was goin for sure even tillwed. afternoon. oh yeah, and it was w/the drag radials off the Iroc. can you say NO WHEEL SPIN at all? it was nice. the tranny swap sounds sweet, but expensive. that should take care of your cruising troubles, but I dont think it will act. take anything off your et.s or trap speed. Im goin into the gar. to drop the tranny. geting ready to swap conv.s. Im sick of dealing w/this small lockup conv.. Im guessing the bigger conv. will help me drop another .2-.3 on the Iroc. Id be really happy w/12.4's.
