The day is near so be prepared. Friday, March 9th at 4pm pre-sale tickets will be available. Only 350 entries will be offered for racing, so pre-register quickly. Friday test and tune with event pre-registration will be available for $20. Pre-registration includes Friday test and tune as well as a no charge Saturday race entry. This competition is open to race cars, street cars, basically any "Door Car" out there. It must have 4 wheels, doors, pass tech inspection and run 12.99 or quicker to compete. Friday spectator/crew tickets will cost $15 and Saturday will cost $20. A two day pass can be purchased in advance only for $30. Kids ages 2-12 will be $8 per day or $12 for the two days if purchased in advance. “This show could very well be a spectator sell out! I strongly suggest buying your spectator and crew tickets in advance. We are very excited to host the Speed PINKS: All Out event at the track. This promises to be an exciting event for all drag racers and Motor City racing fans” states Deneen Baxter, Vice President of Milan Dragway. To purchase tickets go to HERE or directly purchase them at our AutoRama display. Tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase. Racing tickets are non refundable and non transferable. ID will be required for racers at event check in. Watch www.milandragway.com, as the event nears for times and details.

how is this race goin to go? is this goin to be heads up racing, w/in the 10.00-10.99, 11.00-11.99, and 12.00-12.99? I dont understand then why someone with a 12.8 sec car would want to compete since his heads up competition will be 12.0x cars? they said NO sand bagging, so not sure how there plannin on enforcing that, but that would keep a 11.5x sec. car from competing in the 12sec category. someone plese explain the basics to me please.

From what I've heard around town there are going to be a couple fast cars from Port Huron there. I'll be there but I won;t have my car cause its not that fast . But I'll be in $200,000 motor home so its ok I guess.

I figure just like you. If you don't have a car that will run 12.00, 11.00, 10.00, etc. then chances are that you won't be racing. But they might pull a foolie and pick 16 cars that run 12.5 or 10.5. The have the option of looking at all of the qualifying time slips an picking the 16 cars that are closest to each other.

And it's easy to police sandbagging. All you need is a spotter at the stripe to radio back that the winner was off the throttle when he ran his number. Or if you qualify at 11.00 and race at 10.80 you're out.

If you watched the only other pinks all out that's what they did. They only pick 16 cars that are within a a tenth or two of eachother. And if you sandbag and happen to run better than your qualifying time you are out

There is no indication as to what index the show will pick. Everyone just goes and runs "all out" and the execs pick an index group that will make a good show. And yes I will be running 11.0s.
