Possibly Selling My Fikse F5, Help W/Pricing

I may be selling my Fikse F5 rims (17X9.5 all the way around). The rims are in like new condition. Can someone tell me what would be a fair price to ask for these?

Thanks,

Bill

you can try ebay. If you decide on a price put them for sale on the corvetteforum as well since a lot of vette guys like those rims. Good luck.

Those wheels look sweet on the car, why you selling them?

Wheels and tires if I can find the right buyer. New Eagle F1s up front with new Nitto Drags on the rear.

I need to get something with a little more bite to the tires. I also heard that going to a 16" rim with a nice ET street will help the car launch much better.

I think the Torque Thrst II rims look real nice on these cars. I agree that the rims look nice. I am just exploring to see if it would be worth my time and effort?

I also hate the idea that if these are stolen my insurance could screw me.

Thanks,

Bill

They do make 17" ET Streets that would be more than enough for your car. The ET Street Radials are also supposed to be excellent, more slick-like performance than the other drag radials.

Insurance should cover them (for a small price increase) if you tell them they're on there and their value. This is what people told me about my aftermarket stereo gear anyways.

I want to get something with more bite to the tire, ET street. I also have been told going to a 16" will help my launch? With these two I hope to get the 60' time from 1.87 to 1.6?

Any good ideas on what rims are a resonable price and look nice?

Thanks,

Bill

Weld wheels make some nice drag oriented wheels. They are reasonably priced too. Search for them on the net. People are always selling a set here and there as well...

BTW, shoot me a PM on your wheels, im interested, tires and all.
