Re: Short Notice Milan Tomoro

Poopie. i forgot to raise the fuel pressure from 3.5psi to 5.5 in my first run and i wondered why at about 5 grand it fell on its face literally i wa slike wat the heck. so i raised it and richened the primary and richene the secondary i ran 13.2 in the first 13.1 in the second with 2.06 60fts so she keeps getting slower and slower. i was looking at whats different in my 13 flat timeslip then any of my others. and well i ran a slwoer 330 then my next best time and .2 quicker 1/8th at 2mph faster then ne of my others. which i cant figure out why i cant get her back to what she should be traping if it was a fluke or what. i take that as my base runa nd all these others are garbage they dont compare to it at all.

Even at 5.5 fuel pressure my car will fall on its face at 5800, at the track I usually run 9-9.5 fuel pressure in order to keep the fuel pressure at normal during the run. You can borrow my timing light also and check your timing curve.

Re: Short Notice Milan Tomoro

whens the next time ur going out to the track? i was thinkinga bout next friday or sat morning if theres something out there. i gota go to chris'es and dump off his carb for a bit which i finally figured out why i had lag in it off the starts its cuz the fuel curve was crappy i was lean in the primarys just a bit, and the secondarys at WOT were way to lean so i opened em up a bit and ran .1 faster go figure. but i also increased the Fuel pressure. dude that would be sweet the only thing is my regulator bounces over 6psi usually so i dunno its werid and stupid. i was lucky to get it to 5.5 u konw my problem with that stupid thing. but yeah next time u would like to go to the track ill go with you. none of this spontanious crap either dude lol lets plan it next week.

Yeah, I've been having problems with my tranny ever since I first got it tuned. I'm hoping to have it fixed on Monday. Anyway, my best this year so far is 12.3 @118. My friend Darrick made one pass in my car at 12.12 @ 114. He's a much better driver. Lemme know when and if your gonna hit the track again.

Re: Short Notice Milan Tomoro

i wont be running for a while prolly till at least M10 i gotta figure out where imma pull 2 grand outta to rebuild the motor.

I spun a bearing while pulling outta the bank/gas station in dundee while goign to the track.

so 13 passes. 4000 miles = one blown engine.
