So who is working on their cars this week??

That ought to work, Kev--
I dont mind buying icecream-- Too bad I can't enter the minivan for this race, I was cutting .080 to .032 reaction times with that at M11-- Hitting within .050 of the dial-in too. I would've made the fifth round had it not been for that -.014 breakout...
I'm not nearly as consistent with the manual: I need to re-learn how to do it.

Dan,
Look at it this way. It no fun eating ice cream if your holding your
*** in the other hand

Ahh, good point! I guess this is a heads-up kind of race, no bracket, then!
Otherwise the ol' WB edition Venture minivan would waxx the competition with it's solid 16.950 second E/T's
Oh, and I can officially say that the Y-pipe is done today. I will be boxing it up and sending it to JET HOT for coating, which will run about $148 including shipping.
Grand total for making my own Y-pipe is then about $280.

Yep,
Last we talked I beleive our short blocks are pretty identical.
I spent last summer looking for the perfect plug for a 12 to 1
set up.
NGK 7 too cold
NGK 6 better
Autolite 103R (cut back strap) worked very well and I wouldn't hesitate
to decrease the gap and run a 100 shot on them.
I picked up a set of 104's I'll try out when weather permits.

what pistons did you go with? mine are -16cc. you must have gotten the -6 dish? wishing now that I would have milled the heads and gotten it around 11.25.

well there's a big difference. mine has 10.8 compression. think I got stock plugs in mine. dont remember. maybe NGK TR55. hmmm?

The 55's are probably working well for you?
Consider the 103's over the 6's when you spray.

School me here, whats a 3800 run compression/times?
My limited experience tells me that would be too cold a plug
for you. But my brain says get more info before making such
a statement.
Any mods?
