Tires...
Went to Milan yesterday to test out the new mods. Couldn't hook up for $hit. Best time was 12.87 with traction control on. I was just wondering what are the best kinds of track tires out there. I want to go full throttle off the line without having to worry about peeling out. Thanks.

Re: Tires...
I hear good things about BFG Drag Radials. Nittos probably come in 2nd. But, if you want to go more than a drag radial, then you're probably looking at ET Streets. Just don't expect to get any long term mileage out of any of them.

Re: Tires...
nitto is the most street/weather friendly and hooks pretty good. But you cant be a puss you have to warm them up Also, when you get the dragradials, run them on the street at very low air pressure (on a smooth road so you dont bust up your rims) that will break the sidewall down and when you do go to the track, they will rinkle just a bit and help you to hook!

Re: Tires...
If you want tires for just the track, I have a pair of 26 x 10 x 16 E/T Drags (slicks) I can sell you. They are a few years old but they still hook good and have good life left in them. I'll sell you the pair for $100.
Or...
I have a pair of very used BFG Drag radials mounted on stock salad shooter rims. The tires probably only have a couple of trips to the drag strip left in them. I'll sell you the rims & tires for $75.
