Sorry, they're not kicking off in Detroit. If you go to van-halen.com then click on tour info you will see Detroit on the top of the list. But the list is in alphabetical order. I'm all over this trust me. I'm a huge VH fan.

Sammy was good, and certainly did the most for the band in terms of record sales. But the only real VH is with DLR

Dave always annoyed the heck out of me.

There are no dates set in stone, I orignally heard the tour will start on the west coast.

Being VH is based on the music and not who sings the lyrics. The question I always ask someone who trys to divide those two styles are. If a fronted VH with Sammy isn't the same or isn't real VH, Who are they?

Plain and simple VH is Eddies to do with as he sees fit. Listen to The song 5150, Inside, Mine all mine, or Plesure Dome. Very much the VH I grew up on when I was 12 and when VHI came out.

i have seen Van Halen over 25 times ( it started with monsters of rock! lol!), not to mention dlr and sammy on a handful of numerous occasions, i think my brother is the worlds biggest vh fan, his EVH guitar collection is to die for!

my car is my sin, his eddie guitars are his. I don't care...i WILL be front row! last time i saw sammy and was front row he signed a pic of my car doing a burnout

also lets just say my brother was in Cabo over the holidays to see him play! crazy bastage! lol!

Its too bad you grew up with those to base your ideals on. You really missed alot of VH before that. I grew up on DLR, and to me, HE will always be VH. Eddie just got lucky enough to name the band.

Ive been waiting for this since the `95 Balance Tour. I always thought they would reunite with Sammy rather than Dave. Ive seen Dave Solo in concert twice and Sammy Solo twice. And Sammy puts on a better Show, No Contest. Who went to the Sam & Dave show in 2002 ? which one did you think had more Energy ?

Got to Van Halen News Desk .com for any new info.
