Exclamation Wanted: Clean or Dirty Fill

http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/wan/813458470.html

Location: Greenville, Mi (48838).
Type: Residential city property
Contact: Post here or PM Me.

I have a very large hole in my back yard that I am trying to fill. I could use about 100 yards (or more) of fill. Since I am only looking for fill, I do not care what type it is (Clay, Sand, Dirty, Rocks, a mix of all...).

Please note: I am trying to plan a Honeymoon, so I cannot pay you for you fill, only offer you a free place to dump it.

If you are looking for a place to dump your fill for free, please contact me, and I will give you my address.

Thank you,
Milo

100 cubic yards? Did a sink-hole open up or something?

Yep, I know - it's a lot. I've already had about 160+ yards brought in. Two I moved with my truck (which killed my back). I have a VERY large whole in my backyard. It takes about 25% of my yard, which will hurt the resale value when I go to sell (makes it hard for a fence to keep out kids, and dogs).

I've probably spend close to $2k on fill so far, but I'm broke now. With trying to plan a wedding and a honeymoon, I don't have any funds left over for fun things - like dirt.

Yep, it's a big *** hole, that's been there for a long *** time. It actually starts on my yard, and goes for about 4-6 neighbors. I live on a hill, and it's about 40 feet from the edge of the property line and goes back as far as you can see.

I want to get it close to the line without causing issues, but enough to reclaim my yard.

A friend of mine has a few thousand yards of fill he needs to get rid of. Free but you have to come get it.

That sounds perfect - but I don't have a way to carry a lot. I have an F-250, but I'll be limited to 1-2 yards per load. Plus I'm sure your friend is about an hour (plus) away from me, so the money I'd waste in gas may not be worth it.

Unless you happen to know some one with a dump truck who is bored...

We figure it will take about 350 tandem gravel haulers to remove the leftover fill he has.
