Winter months.

Man I'm growing jaded during this non-stop winter blast..

My car has been in my parking lot, Under a Car cover for months now, My winter beater dies more daily, not to mention the ball freezing temps this winter.

These winter months need to make their way to the door, as they've worn out there welcome.

sigh

im anxious for spring... i picked up an OEM LT1 WS6 ram air hood about a month ago, and have the intake and everything i need for the ram air swap except for the 12" maf extension i ordered a few weeks ago from summit that was backordered but should be shipping out monday... i can't wait for spring so i can get the car out of the garage and to the body shop to have the hood painted and installed....

I have had the car out once since the end of november... the day in early january that it was 65 out which ironically was the day after i won the hood on ebay, so i went to the body shop about 5 miles away to get the estimate done for painting the hood and roof...Even the body shop guy suggested i keep my car off the road till spring and not get the work done till then because of how rust free the car is (it was a southern car until this past summer when i brought it back from arizona on a trailer... i bought it in fla about 4 years ago)

(the first pic is a photoshop of a stock ws6 with my black ZR1's and the secnod is just a stock WS6 airbox identical to the one i bought)

and a pic of how the car looks right now

Wow, perhaps what you all need to do is buy a cheap snowmobile. That way when it's cold and snowy out, you look forward to the weather! I gotta tell you, that ever since getting myself a couple of old sleds to play with, I have never seen or felt a faster winter than this one. We were out pulling sleds full of kids through the fields this afternoon, and I can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Then, when the snow finally goes away, I'll summerize them, hide them under a tarp, and pull out the Trans Am. It really helps to have some kind of toy for the winter. I never knew!
