Have you tried taking the gear off the motor and reversing it? That is what goes bad most of the time. The teeth wear off on one side because it runs on one side. Rev the gear and it runs on that side. Hope this helps.

Is it right or left side? Due to the way they are bolted in, they are not interchangable. I have an assembly in my garage I'd sell for $75, but I'd have to dig it up to see if it was right or left side.
