What ignition is everybody running with their Nitrous set-up?

I have a 97 T/A that I plan on spraying with a 150 shot & I'm just wondering which ignition system everyone is using?

MSD 6AL or the Digital 6?
or
The Crane ignition set-up?

Thank you for all of your advice it has been REALLY helpful so far.

I have the MSD digital 6. Like it,works good.

The Mallory Hyfire is also popular,as it has a built in window switch.

I am getting ready to upgrade from the 6AL to the Digital 6 for the added feature of the adjustable timing retard. Along with the two adjustable built in rev limiters.

My vote goes for the Hyfire. I plan on getting one soon. With all of the stuff of the msds plust the built in window, why not.

Is the MSD 6AL a good enough ignition for the time being as long as I get a window switch?

I've been running the 6AL with the blaster coil. But the digital 6 is the ticket.

6AL is good enough, but with one of the digital models (HyFire no.685, digital 6) you have the ability to retard spark for the bigger shot. i have the HyFire and like it.

Digital 6 w/ Blaster coil.

Digi 6 lasted 2 years of daily driving, then took a dump on me. Sent it back, they sent me a new one free (even though it was out of warranty). At this time, car kinda went off daily driver duty....second one lasted a couple months. Waited a while, sent it back and they sent me another new one free, and this one is good so far, though I don't have many miles on it.

But it does have a lot of very useful features.
