OK here is your latest update

--------- Not Qualified ---------

20. Michael Faucher '68 Camaro 6.418 221.13

20 out of 23

Sorry if I offended you John but just like the Christian Childrens fund......"If I can save just one child a day, you too can make a difference"

I challenge you to find one person who has dealt with them and had a pleasant experience.

And lets just clarify what a pleasant experience means.....
A) charged what is quoted
B) job completed in a reasonable timeframe (and that means quicker than 4 months for an ignition system or 1 year for a motor rebuild without blowing your motor up at least once on the engine dyno)
C) not get hounded for money (especially at 9:30 pm at night)

And the most important thing
D)) A SATISFIED CUSTOMER

Hell, the never reaching affect of Quest Racing is not just in the New England area.......

Someone I know was recently at a car show in Pennsylvania and they saw something that had Quest racing sticker (or valve cover or something) on it and the guy asked him about it and he just went off on Quest

Marc

Marc you spoke to soon!
Quest Racing made it to Qualifing on Sunday as an alternate.
Also I don't see anyone else here going low 6 second 1/4 miles.
Its not all that easy atleast they are trying.

All this Quest bashing but why is it that SRA hasn't finished your car in a timely fashion either but we haven't heard the bashing yet. SRA has had more than 4 months on the ingnition system.

You have every right to bash who you see fit but I think everyone here knows you didn't like Quest. We get your point now lets move on lots of other things to talk about.

Rob

P.S. The guy in Penn should take the valve cover off then if he didn't like Quest. Also there are hundreds of engine builder between Penn and MA why did he chose Quest he must of heard they were good.

OK you got me there.

You forgot the main difference between Quest and SRA.....Your car runs when it leave SRA.

Yes, it was there for four months but it was from Jan to May and I knew it would take a few months to design OSCAR. You don't see anyone else making an ignition system that will fit in the factory location do you?

The stuff that has happened to it lately is not Buddy's fault, we keep chasing issues with new things as they pop up (fuel pump dies, alternator doesn't have enough sack, by-pass valve too small)

It would be done by now but I told Buddy to take a break from it as I bought the LS-1 for a driver.

Marc

Regarding your "P.S." comment.....does "redneck" ring a bell??

Well thats the problem they are having the car doesn't want to leave the line, thats how bad the clutch slips, they have been having clutch problems all year they eat up a clutch disc every round. What they spent on clutch discs this year is more than what i have into my whole car.

if you were there on saturday then the afternoon run did suck leaving the line, cause he took off in second gear .
The burnouts are done in second gear and when the burnout was over he forgot to put it in first. A total waste of a run.

This is the type of stuff ihra website don't tell you.

If you guys were there at the track you should of stopped by the trailer I was in the pits all day.

One question there genius....Why did you have Quest work on your car then?

Is there a reward if you find the village idiot??
