Parting out 1987 TransAm GTA Vortech RTrim 600+HP

Well, looks like parting out the GTA is unavoidable. Ive got a buyer for the turnkey motor/computer/headers.....but everything else is available. Let me know. John


If you watch the boards, this car has been for sale and sold a couple times. It seems everyone wants to buy it but noone has stepped up with the cash. Im almost to the point that Im going to start parting this car out. If I can get a serious offer on the motor, I will do this. But motor will need to sell first.

Well, I was showing what prices it would take toi build the car. I dont have that much invested. I would have to be REALLY desperate to have $40K in something and ask $12.5K...... Right now it looks like car is going to get dissected. Which is too bad because there arent too many 87gta around with no body work....no rust......and this overall clean condition.... not too mention the 600+ ponies....

As far as times.....She went 11.9 @124mph on street tires with 2.3x 60 foot......

When she gets slicks/traction......That should be deep 11sec w/out NOS.......

Shes old but not slow......

well, Im going to start taking offers on the motor. Id like to sell motor complete with blower/engine mgt setup. If you are interested and have CASH then let me know....I will not sell any other parts until motor has been bought and paid for because i want whoever purchases car to know motor is solid.

Come on people. Noone needs a 600+Hp motor for their fbody's. The whole car will be parted out, but I must start with the motor/tranny so whoever buys it can appreciate what 510rwhp is on street tires. Anyways, email me with questions.

Im not going to part anything until the motor sells....but I do have a 15# and 10# pulley setup in my garage.....they arent cog but I think the 15# is 8rib....the 10# is 6rib.....I may even have the belts also.....let me know if you are interested in these....

im not sure if the rtrim and strim pulleys are interchangeable but Im sure one of the smart boards members can answer that for us.....as far as pics of the car....Ive got plenty......I will send you an email with a couple.....thanks for the interest....

VORTECH says it will work they are interchangeable for the pulleys.

So what do you want for the 8 rib set up???????
