Hey all,

A friend of mine siezed the motor on his 87 camaro with a 305, 4-speed auto tranny. I was going to yank the motor and build it up to drop into my 84 Berlinetta, but I have decided to part it out or sell it as a full parts car. I am located in Central CT and would prefer if you came to pick up your parts/car. I will ship parts if I have to, but the buyer will pay for shipping. I also have access to a truck/trailer for a limited radius of vehicle delivery.

"the deal is that the engine is seized. I don't know why it is so it could be anything from a broken piston or cam shaft which isn't horrible or it could have f'd the block over gooood. so basically there's a high risk that it needs a whole new engine. but the rest of the car is decent. I have a new flowmaster muffler and new lift cylinders for the tailgate but I haven't put them in. other than that it's a regular ol 87 camaro with a lousy dark blue paint job, good body and nice (IROC) wheels. So anyone with a shop where they can pull an engine should take it and put a new one in. the dead engine is a 305 and the transmission is the standard 4 speed auto."
