How about a price and pics? Whats damaged on it? Does it run? Answers to these questions might sell the car!

 

The car has seen many upgrades in the few months Ive had it, but it started on fire near the rear of the engine. To get it running a few vacuum lines, spark plug wires, and a few wires in the harness need to be repaired. with all the upgrades Ive done its worth it. ive put over $7,000 into the car in upgrades in the last 6 months.I dont have the time to fix it right now so that is why its getting sold. ive been told 5 speed convertible z28s are very rare cars as well. here are a list of upgrades Ive done to it:

350 (1100 miles) was a 305

crane hyd. roller cam (214*/220* duration @ 0.050 .452/.465 lift)

crane lifters timing chain and pushrods

crane gold 1.6 roller rockers

edelbrock tpi runners and base plate

edelbrock headers and y-pipe

flowmaster american thundercat back

accell 30lb injectors and adjustible fuel pressure regulator

accell coil, distributor, and 8.8 wires(need to be replaced)

centerforce dual friction clutch and throw out bearing

b&m short throw shifter

160* t-stat

fans turn on at 160* as well to match the t-stat

bbk 58mm throttle body

lowered 2"

aftermarket steering brace(wonderbar)

port and polish heads

4" cowl hood

 

im looking for a 4th gen 6 speed 96-02 t-top or hard top so trades are more than welcome. and ill kick in some cash as well. my 91 is black with a black top and im looking for a pewter or black z28 or ss

 

if the price is right ill throw in subframe connectors, aluminum gauge bezel and reverse indiglo gauges. trying to plan wedding and need money!!!! or a newer z

Question: If the fire damage is so minor, and you obviously have some mechanical skills, why not fix it and get more $ out of it? It seems like i am missing something here

 

laziness is the main reason.

 

are you parting it out or selling it whole? i want your b&m t-5 shifter.
