i also have a new lt-1 383 shortblock for sale for $1500.it has scat crank and rods.rods are 6" and pistons are kb with floating pins.sfi blancer and flexplate.total seal rings and performance clevite bearings.has lt-4 hot cam and lifters.blancing and machine work done by T&P Machine in San Antonio.also have stock lt-1 heads with hot cam springs on them and a set of hooker supercomp headers for it.wil take $4500 for both.Billie 361-293-1574 cell

hard top or t top?

 

Im VERY interested in the 383 SB. I threw a rod in my bird tonight and need a SB. I am in Austin and could pick it up. How many miles are on the engine?

 

it is a hard top.383 shortblock is new with o miles.i want to sell the headers with the motor.

 

Is 1500 including the Headers? What kind of rods are in it?

 

yes that is with the headers and the rod are scat 6" bushed 4340 with cap screws.all parts are new not used and the crank hub is keyed and blancer is sfi and is pined to only go on one way and has timing marks on it.blancer and hub were $250 alone.

 

Whats the compression ratio of the 383?
