Man sorry about the bad luck thats a sweet looking car. I bet some one would give 1200 for it myself i would part it out if its an m6 the trans swap is worth that alone. good luck with whatever you decide to do. I'd like the hood too lol.

sorry guys...helping my parents all day fixing up the house they are moving into. probably gonna be the same way tomorrow.

in my last post...i meant to say stock wheels and hood.....not wheels and tires. no, the SS hood is not going with it for $1200. i just can't do that. i have too much money in it.

also, i am still talking to people about whether to part the car out or sell it whole. i have a few offers around here from guys wanting to make a drag car out of it but nothing concrete. i will probably end up selling the hood and wheels separate and just saying the hell with it if i don't get any reasonable offers.

if i do sell the hood separately, i will be honest and sell it to the first person who asked about it.

hell I live about three hours from you. I wish I had know about this sooner. I like the ss hood rims and well it was a sweet car. What do you have left. Is it a six speed? I would like to get a complete conversion to a six speed.

does anybody have any idea what the car would be worth like it sits with the stock wheels and hood? it has a 1 year old alternator and a brand new starter...its only been on for MAYBE 2 months. also, it has a brand new Optima red top battery...its less than 2 months old as well. oh, and i just put two new headlights (dim) on the car a month ago. again, i have no idea how high the water actually got on the car. it was too dark to tell. all i know is that the top of the seats (not seat backs) did not get wet. any info or offers would be greatly appreciated.

i'd be all over the wheels if you could ship them... you're almost 7 hours from me, wouldn't warrant the gas it would take to get there.

i already bought another car so now i have to sell it. interior needs to be replaced anyways and i don't have the money to do that. as for the motor....i am sure it is fine. just need to drain and change all the fluids. thanks for all the help guys.

well...there it is. i hate even looking at it now. it just pisses me off. the good news is that the place that i ran into the water now has flood water signs up so hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone else. i love being a martyr...hehe

 

well, the car and hood have both been sold.


still have the wheels......17" chrome (look like gt mustang wheels) with BF Goodrich g-force tires. 3 of the tires are probably 75-80% and the other one is worn a little bit more around the edge.
