I bought a brand new Gauge Cluster bezel and new lens from www.macewenmotorsports.com for my car. This is the black part that outlines your gauges. Its brand new i just opened the box for inspection. It still has the clear plastic cover stuck to the lens to protect it. I have no need for this as my Girlfriend bought me a white faced gauge kit and bezel. Macewen wants $44 + shipping. I want $40 shipped.

 

Is that the one that makes 93-96 Trans Ams look like the 98s, or is that the one that only fits 98-02?

 

Its the black plastic piece that outlines all the gauges. 98+ Birds have them and they can be installed on 93-96 TA's or 97+Camaros. If you install one of these your 96 cluster will look just like the 98+'s but you won't have the digital odometer.

 

What's the part #

 

I don't know the part number. I just looked on it the bezel and i don't see one on it. Macewen does list them as being OEM parts.

 

If you look at their website, is it the one specified for the 93-early 97 T/A or the one for the 97-02 T/A? Just trying to make sure that it will fit my car.

 

The bezels were only originally made for 98+ car's. What Macewen does is they cut 6 plastic tabs off the 98 ones and sells them again as 93-97 ones. This one is a 98 bezel that hasn't been modified yet. I have my 93 cluster out right now to install Red LED's and my white faced gauges. I could cut the tabs off for someone that wants it. I just wasn't going to do that unless someone asked.

sorry but the bezel isn't for sale anymore. I called Macewen to find out when my white faced gauges and bezel that my GF had ordered 2 weeks ago was shipped. They then informed me its gonna be shipped thursday because the overlays are on back order. So they canceled the bezel she had on order for me. So i'm gonna keep this one and modify it.
