Autocross suspension from Sam Strano...93-02 Camaro Z28 and transam
SOLD!
A few years back, I bought an Autocross suspension set-up from Sam Strano.
I never did install the parts on my former 94 Z28.
The parts all all brand New and consist of:
1. Bilstein front and rear shocks revalved to Sam Strano's specifications.
2. Ground Control Coil Over conversion kit
3. Front and rear Springs in a rate that Sam recommends.
4. Poly bushing kit that Sam recommends for the front end.
I will NOT separate the set...Sam recommended me to sell the set for the amount $795...i paid much more. ...... SOLD!!!

I didn't think of this until somebody asked me in a PM...
The REAR ground control kit technically isn't a traditional coilover. Traditional coilovers have the a preload adjustable spring mounted around a shock absorber. The main purpose of a traditional coilover is to be able to adjust ride height & corner balance with adjustable preload of the spring. On the rear, the ground control kit does not mount the spring around a shock. Instead, it maintains the large coil spring in the stock location, but adds a preload adjuster between the spring and lower spring perch. It performs the exact function as a traditional coilover, except the spring coil isn't over a shock.
The fronts in this kit, however, are traditional coil overs when installed.
Here are the instruction sheet pictures:

If you change your mind about parting them out I'll take the front and rear springs. Seeing how I already have Koni's and poly bushings for the front it would be pointless to buy the whole kit.

I just noticed the springs say "Eibach" .....you sure these are Strano springs? I think I know what happened. When I was at work I was unable to view pics ...now I can. You must have bought the Eibach "Pro kit" from Sam Strano. What I really want is the actual Strano lowering springs:

You don't have those, do you?

My spring and ground control kit are the exact items Sam Strano used to win ESP class at Solo Nationals when he used to run in that class.

I have no idea what kit I have, but it is not designed to mount springs only...you need to Ground control kits I have to work right. Especially the fronts as they are a coil over conversion.

Re: Autocross suspension from Sam Strano...93-02 Camaro Z28 and transam
interested but with questions. i know the spring rates are different for v8 and v6 cars so i guess i need to contact strano and find out what kind of effect this would have if i were to put this kit on my v6 car
