Parting Out Brand New Supercharged 383 LT1 - 617 HP
I'm selling a brand new Vortech supercharged 383 LT1. The engine has only been run on the dyno and made 617HP & 573 lb/ft. This engine has the best of everything: CP Pistons, Callies 4340 crankshaft and billet splayed 4-bolt main caps, Manley H-Beam rods, AFR cylinder heads, etc. Complete specs & info can be found at www.blown383lt1.com
Email Brian at blown.lt1@comcast.net
Asking $13,000, but price is negotiable. Make a reasonable offer. I will also sell the engine without the supercharger & intercooler for $10,000 OBO.
I'm going to start trying to sell the individual pieces of this deal, I would really like to sell this stuff.
Short block (from head studs to oil pan): $5500 OBO
Heads & Intake (including fuel rails, injectors, distributor mod stuff): $3000 OBO
Supercharger & Intercooler only (no pump, tank, heat exchanger): $SOLD

It only made 14 lbs. due to the small (6inch) crank pulley. All of the components should be good for at least 900HP, the stock block is probably the weakest point. All of the details (including dyno sheets) are available at www.blown383lt1.com.
Thanks,
Brian

Yes, I modified the OEM intake to except a conventional MSD Chevy distributor. I didn't use a separate crank trigger, I used the picked in the distributor and moved the reluctor ring to be compatible with an aftermarket ECU. Have I mentioned I hate opti-craps?

Brian

That's quite a constructive post you just made, huh? The blower and intercooler were around $5400 and the AFR heads were about $2500. Once you add in the price of the rods, CP pistons (not cheap), crankshaft, dyno time, time to add the distributor in place of the opti-crap, etc, I'm losing quite a bit on this deal. All of the parts of this are new, and I'm just trying to recoup some of my money when I sell it. Do the math and try again.
Thanks,
Brian
