This hydraulic roller camshaft makes great upper RPM power with a slightly rough idle. Can be used in 1986-99 305-350 Chevrolet engines. The step nose design is for cars and trucks originally equipped with a hydraulic roller camshaft. Can easily replace a hydraulic camshaft in 1986-99 blocks when used with lifter kit 12371042. We recommend using a 1500-2000 RPM stall speed torque converter for maximum low end power. Contains eccentric for mechanical fuel pump. Off-road use only, not CARB approved for street use. I ran this cam for about 2 years without any problems and it drove very well on the street when my car was on the street . Its already set up for an 95 style opti (dowl).
