Have you ever had subs in it? If so what were they and how did it sound? How is the wood where the subs screw in? Also how heavy is it? Thanks, I'm very interested.

Yes, I have 2 JL Audio 12W6's in it and it sounds great. Rattled the car a lilttle so I snugged up some interior panels.

I installed the subs once, took them out and reinstalled them so I suppose you might need the next size up of wood screws but I'm not sure.

I'd say it weighs about 30-40lbs maybe but I'm not realy sure.

The subs don't touch the bottom of the box

The sub box rests on top of the t-top holder and the ledges on the sides, so there is some room beneath it. I put my amp under it.
