Complete 355ci LT-1 hi-po engine for sale!
I'm selling my engine out of my car!
This engine was built with nitrous in mind, so it is nitrous ready for whoever purchases. This engine has never had nitrous flowed into it yet!
Never used nitrous due to first clutch slipped, we purchased a new stronger clutch and then we shattered the spider gears in the rear. On to a new project.
ENGINE: (aprox 10,000 miles)
GM zz4 forged steel crankshaft
Eagle H-beam rods
Speed Pro Forged 2 Valve relief pistons
Speed pro file-to-fit rings (top ring .028 for nitrous)
Meling oil pump
stock oil pan
Rotating assembly was balanced by carolina machine engines (Johnson SC)
New opti when rebuilt
March underdrive pulley set
CSI Water Pump
LT-1 aluminum heads milled .025" (Ported and polished by me, search for flows on these heads)
Comp Cams double coil valve springs and retainers
Valve lift set on these heads were .620" max lift
Three angle valve job
Stock valves, 1.94 intake 1.50 exhaust
GM 847 camshaft
Summit hardened pushrods
Comp Cams Gold 1.6 Roller Rockers
LT-4 timing chain
LT-1 ported intake
Accel 30 lb injectors
Accel custom fit wires
Mac mid length headers
Moroso cold air induction intake
ported MAF
stock throttle body
Stock fuel rail
Stock starter
Stock altenator
Stock altenator bracket
I'm selling everything from oil pan to fuel rail! $4500
This engine is producing well over 400hp! (I'd be dissapointed if it weren't 400rwhp) Same engine produced 345rwhp at 5500rpms with old XE 224/230 cam. (stopped dyno due to fuel being lean.......pcm injector constants wasn't set right)
New engine is producing power up to 7000 rpms in car now!
Engine is located in South Carolina.

Do you know what the compression ratio on the motor is? Is it a vented or unvented opti timing cover? Was it from an OBDII motor (is there a crank trigger on the bottom of the timing cover)?

This engine should be around 11 or 11.5:1 compression, since the heads were milled .025 and we put flat top pistons with 2 valve reliefs in this engine. (Forged speed pro's .030) (Runs on 93 octane with total timming around 36*, never tried to put any more than this, so I don't know if it will take any more timming without detonating)
It is a vented opti, OBD 1 engine without the crank trigger, and as far as shipping, as long as it is paid for I will put it on a pallet and take it to UPS, or whoever will ship it.
Engine ran 8.3 seconds 1/8mile with a 2.0 second 60 ft time in a 95 camaro full interior, all accesories, 6spd, with breaking traction.
