custom comp cam: 233/236, a .569/.555 on 109 LSA
i had every intention of using this cam in my car until i learned its gonna be too much for my intentions. i got it off a local guy who had it in a 93 LT1 camaro with a th 350 and stock heads and bottom end. had all bolt ons and ran a 12.0 with it. i took it to a local machine shop and they said it was in EXCELLENT condition. it has some wear marks on it, that i asked about and they said no problem at all, an emory cloth would take care of any marks on it. the seller told me it had about 1,000 miles on it. i think this cam would be happy up around 6,600-6,800 and thats too much for my needs so my loss is your gain. im kicking myself for selling it, cause it was a great find but i dont wanna push my luck.
from my understanding, every guy i talked to who had heard the car with this cam, it is NASTY!!!
here are the specs the old seller gave to me and Comp gave as well. the grind numbers on the end are exactly what they should be and the tech gave me the exact specs....
233/236 @ .050
533 Intake, 569 w/ 1.6 RR
520 Exhaust, 555 w/ 1.6 RR
109 LSA
3* Advance
this is close to a $300 cam new so im thinking 170 shipped sound good....
