Has angled top to bounce sound on a angle towards the hatch glass, Very nice setup, and sounds great with little or lots of amplifier power. light gray carpet. Box was professionally built by a reputable shop in Orlando. Not cheap... Almost giving it away but priced to sell. Subs I bought brand new and have never been abused or over powered
