I am putting my camaro's current motor up for sale to make way for my new 409 project! It is complete with a beautiful TPI unit, but im willing to sell it with out the TPI as well.

This engine runs perfectly. It makes power throughout the entire RPM range. Sounds great and no problems.

This motor only has 1,500 miles on it!

'87 2 bolt main block (1-piece seal)
bored .030 over
federal mougal forged flat top pistons w/ 4 valve reliefs
magged stock rotating assembly all at STD sizes.
final compression ratio is 9.86 : 1

'87 ramp style heads, mildly ported and polished
1.94 intake, 1.50 exhaust
4-angle valve job.
these heads make some great torque.

100% new crane valve train (dual springs, retainers, keepers, pushrods, etc.)
.450 lift, 218 duration cam with new matched lifters (perfect with TPI set-up)
beautiful 1.5 ratio self-aligning roller rockers.

All Fel-Pro or GM gaskets.
high volume oil pump
High volume Water Pump
chrome oil pan

TPI setup is completly stock with the exception of the powdercoating.
The runners and plenum sides are done in a amazing cameleon metal-flake and the plenum top is polished to a mirror finish.
It is amazing looking. I think it is the best looking TPI i have seen yet.

Although this has never been on the dyno, estimates for power are 350 - 380hp, and 350 - 380 ft/lbs of torque.

This engine is still currently in my camaro so you can hear it run and look it over!


I am asking $3500 dollars complete with wiring harness and computer
