The 93-94 non-vented optis require teh use of the shirter dowel pin

if u have that year u can still use this cam , teh dowel pin has to be shaved or tapped down to work correctly , no biggie.
GLWS i have this cam going in sooon enough

any sound clips??? dyno graphs , track slips? Thanks

Sound clip is all i have. The car did stay side by side with 2 Bolt on 04 cobras from a highway roll. It was a monster out on the highway. No good track times but it did MPH @ 115.

can you just buy the dowel pin for a 95 to put in there and not have to do any cutting and grinding? If not, how much of that dowel do you have to shave down to make it work?

you'll see when you pull yours out, its real easy to cut it. Use a die grinder with a cutoff wheel and just measure the old pin and cut the new one a tad long. Then match one to the other and shave it a little more to match so that both pins butt up against the cam face. I did it to mine, its cake. Or you may be able to buy the shorter pin, but when you drive it in you still need to know how far to drive it in. I dont remember the exact length off hand.
