Re: FS: GM847 Cam!

The other cam is doing great! with 12.0 A/F I dynoed 405RWHP/360RWTQ & it pulled to 7k RPM so it was awesome, its a good Joe Overton cam.

Although when I had the 847 I had a problem wilth 1 lifter, one of the Comp R' lifters the pluger popped out on the top so I guess I was getting valve float on one of them, you know how there is a retaining clip on top of the lifter? Yeah that went, so maybe the 847 would have done even better, Needless to say this cam built power earlier & for much longer then the 847 so yeah I like it, I'm going to go back to the dyno & dyno tune her, I think I might be able to squeez out 415-420rwhp out of her.

Re: FS: GM847 Cam!

Torque seems a little low on the ol' "O" cam.

Re: FS: GM847 Cam!

Yes its much better then the Hotcam LOL, guys are making 400rwhp + with this cam, you'll need springs that can handle .600 lift if you're using 1.6 rockers, lmk.

Re: FS: GM847 Cam!

I put down 392rwhp but i was having some major problems with ignition at the time, so it would prolly hit 400rwhp easy, & yes this will work with stock heads, I'd estimate 360rwhp with stock heads. This cam has about 2k miles on it at most, looks in awesome condition, email me if you're interested asap.

Thank You.
