Re: FS: Nice 383 LT1
I PMed you, but your storage limit has been reached.
Here is the PM I sent:
Hello, how are you doing?
Thank you for your reply. You have my word that I will hold the engine for you until January, if you are serious about purchasing it from me. All I need is for you to give me your word that you will purchase it from me.
Just say the word, and I will hold this engine for you until January.
$3750.00, without the timing set plus shipping. NPT should be able to deliver this to you, for around $350 to $400. There may be cheaper freight available, but I am not sure. It cost a bit over $400 for me to ship a complete TPI engine with 700R4 tranny to Pennsylvania, through NPT.
As soon as Jerry finally finishes building it, I will send you pictures of it all assembled and ready to go.
Jerry is still waiting on ProGram to provide the two bolt main "straps." As soon as he gets those, he will complete the machinework and assembly. It shouldn't be too much longer....definitely by mid January.
Again, thanks for your reply, and I hope all is well for you.
Sincerely,
Tim Gradner (307) 399-1696

I wish you the best with the sale, if I was ready to buy this would be exactly what I would be looking for, the rotating assembly you have in this is the one I was thinking about getting, and havign it already balanced and assembled is a score for those parts alone. If it doesn't sell hold onto it until after x-mas, well mid Januaryish, and I will be in the market then...

Re: FS: Nice 383 LT1
yeah my PM box is way over it's limit, I used to be a supporting member here, where I donated to the forums and got more storage, btu I guess being gone for so long, haven't really posted since 2009ish, I am back to a normal member and room for only 100 messages however there are still over 250 in my box I guess I am 2.5X over filled, lol...
As for my mesasage, please still try and sell it. I am looking for a similar rotating assmebly now, but when I saw your post and brough it up to my wife all I got was "we'll talk asbout it after the holidays" and that is why I said I would not really be in the market until January. Any why I said if you didn't sell it I would be looking then. If you want my word that I will buy yours we can talk about it, but my wife is the only one that has final say in spending that much money in one shot, I'll give you a call later today.

Re: FS: Nice 383 LT1
Note the Pro-Gram straps in the second and third pictures in my original posting.
The stock main caps were machined down, to allow the complete surface area of the caps to contact the bottom of the Pro-Gram "straps."
These more than double the strength of the mains.
Very strong.
