he should not have to disclose his reason for wantign to sell it. He should have to disclose its condition and miliagle and relvent info like that though.
the reason for selling it is his business and really does not matter as long as he discloses all the propor info.
thats a perfectly logical question.maybe it didnt hold the power or had too much chatter.could be he is switching to a auto, its really up to the seller to decide if he wants to answer,i dont really think the seller needs you to come to his defense, lol.

Ok well..when your selling something then you can decide what the rules are... forget this.he just lost a 98% possible sale because of your annoyance.

A clutch is a wear item that is generally not replaced before its lifespan is up unless you are going for more power or something was wrong. why would it not be reasonable to ask a question like that?

I am selling it because my 6-speed conversion kit came with 2 clutches - A spec 3 and a spec 4. I decided to put the spec 3 on. Therefore, I have no use for the spec 4 right now. I would LIKE to keep it and have an extra clutch - but I am in need of some cash to finish my project so I have to let it go.

I know the person who used the clutch before - and know that it only has 500 miles on it. Plus it looks like new. There are not any problems with it. I HEAR that these clutches can take a lot of power and aren't too bad for street driving either - but I have never used this clutch, so I cannot say for sure.

So that is why I am selling it....

I would recommend using a Spec pressure plate with it - but I'm not sure if you really have to or not....

I am not at my house right now, but I will try to get some pics of it on here as soon as I can. You will see that it looks like new.

Yes I am from Buffalo, New York - & a member of NYSpeed.

I sold him these with my T56. It is a damn sweet disc, and I had two of them when I sold it. Good seller here guys, dude drove from NY to Michigan and helped me pull the pedals on the car to get this.

Thanks dreamer1q - everything has gone great with the 6-speed swap. All I need to do today is put my Y-pipe and torque arm back on, then I will be able to take it for a test drive!

I am open to offers on this clutch disc guys. Like I said before, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I just can't use 2 clutches at the same time - and need some extra cash...

thanx

I haven't even driven the stage 3 yet to be able to say. I am just finishing up doing a 6-speed conversion. I am about to go out right now and put my Y-pipe and torque arm back on - then take it for a drive!
