Fully forged Callies 4 bolt splayed/Balanced 383 LT1 8.9:1 with stock LT1 Head CAPABLE of 7000rpm+ 1000hp+ built by D&D in Davison, MI: $2000 (includes a $390 Moroso High Volume Anti-Cavity pan+oil pump+pickup)
Only spun to 6200rpm proven by years of datalogs, TUNE, and even the lack of spark knock HISTORy!! I can supply. I datalogged lots of runtime with this engine.
$4695 in parts/labor! I have ALL receipts (they are also in the pics in link)

Diamond Forged Pistons: -31cc, it came to ~8.8 or 8.9:1 with the heads.

Moroso LT1 Oil Pan
8.9:1 Compression (supports 650-700hp with 92 octane at ~10psi)
It's a great short block needs nothing.
Did not use oil, no problems, no noises.
about 35psi oil pressure idle when hot, 55-60 when revving.
About 8400 miles on the short block, been to the track 1 time and dyno 1 time, the rest was normal driving with the occational WOT run.
Never been higher than 6200rpm have logs to prove it, made 570rwhp with about 7-8psi.
Always used 10w40 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic after first 300 miles break in.
