Just refund the guys money! Obviously he cant use it, and you say there is nothing wrong with it. You get the crank and sell it again if you want, he gets his money back.

Its only fair man.
I met T/A 396, and he's a good guy, I don't think he is trying to bull**** you here.

I am new to this forum and hope to find many parts with good prices. However, I am not sure what parametres are in place to ensure the buyer. With that said, I still have not seen anybody post a support for RedThunder 1994 and his integrity selling. Refund the man his $ and make this a safe forum for buying and selling..........Just my 2 cents.........

I'd say this is a loss cause. He obviously doesn't want to refund your money. I'd also like to say the jack *** obviously knew it was in that condition because he states he doesn't care and won't be visiting this forum anymore. Just be more careful bud.

Re: Got screwed out of 505$ by RedThunder1994

I once had a problem like this one time. I had found a person selling brand new GM gears and was asking about $20 cheaper than I could get them anywhere else. But I needed the gears so I bought them. I get them in the mail and they are in some plain brown box, not even a gear box and have an obvious wear pattern on the teeth where they had some high miles on them. They even had the bearings pressed on still. I got them in and was like you have to be kidding me. I paid full price for this! I got ripped off for sure. But I emailed the guy and told him they were obviously not new as he stated and wanted my money back. He apoligised and said he was told they were new when he bought them but would gladly give me a refund if I would ship them back. Which he did, so he really just didnt know he had used gears I guess. He was nice about it and treated me how he would want to be treated which is the whole point of this. If you got the crank in the mail and had issues with it, you dont want to be stuck with it, you want the guy who sold it to you to work with you some and not be so definsive. I do not know the condition of the crank, I just know the guy is not happy and if you want to do the right thing, it is refund his money regardless if he is right or not just to be the better person and do whats right.

This is total crap!!! If you stated it is new and still in the box. Then, it better be new! In perfect condition! If not, you need to refund the money in full!! REd thunder, you have already stated, that there was rust on the crank. In my book it isn't in new condition.

i didnt know there was any rust till i sent it that morning, and this rust isnt rust i wiped off most of it with a paper towel, everything i wanted sold is anyway, my nos tanks gone and the pistons are oing to my brothers 95 vette, you guys wont see me on here anymore neway im on to trucks and drags now
This statement speaks for itself! He was going to unload his junk and move on. I have been through this same thing. I got ripped off from a board member on a "perfect condition" product. I wonder about some peoples idea of "perfect condition." And, as in my case, the seller always uses the "I have sold to plenty of satisfied people" or "Check my ebay feedback." I will NEVER buy another item off of a board or ebay without a picture! As a matter of fact, since I got ripped, I have not bought another used item since and probably never will. I would rather wait and save a little while longer to ensure that I am not going to get ripped on a "perfect condition" item and just buy new! I got the stories from "Parents are in bad shape" to "Already spent the money" to "I'm a struggling college student!" I hope that you have good luck with getting your money back!

Can't you go through paypal and dispute it? Maybe get some of your money back?

Paypal doesn't handle anything ... not paypal related... if it doesn't involve money comming from somewhere... or goign somewhere... paypal could care less...

too bad this has to happen. it really deters people from buying what is most likely a good deal from here just because a few others ruin it and cause mistrust. Though I will admit I am still fighting a dispute with paypal myself over an item bought on Ebay.
