Guaging intrest in parting or selling 95 Formula 383 LT4 stroked car
I am thinking of parting and or selling my car. I got a truck now. I will list all the parts that are installed or on hand for the car. Feel free to make an offer but keep in mind I may not be able to part the car if things don't work out right. I added up the cost and I have over $20,000 invested.
Car is 95 Formula. Red in color
Seats are Black leather power and lumbar.
Tape deck and CD player units 1 each Delco
Fog light aftermarket
Stock hood body and spoiler.
Many more mods not listed. I have all reciepts for partsexcept for the Stroker Motor that was done by Nue-Tek motor sports.
LT4 383 Stroker with Callies Fordged crank Eagle fordged rods and SRP flat top pistons. HV melling oil pump, shaft, pickup and ARP stud. Canton Oil pan and stainless hardware. AFR 210 LT4 Comp ported heads. LT4 Jet Hot Coated intake ported to match heads and 58 mm TB. Comp Magmum 1.6 RR, Comp R lifters and pushrods, guide plates. ARP rocker studs. Comp 236 234 extream Energy Cam. LT4 composit vale covers. CSI electric water pump. New Opti. Delteq New In box if interested. if not I may keep or return to shop. All sensors replaced with new GM Dealor parts. ASK Jason Cromer about my weekly visits. New cooling line in back of heads. EGR and AIR block off plate. AS&M 58 mm TB. 1LE elbow. Hooker LT's and mufflex Y pipe and reducer. Hooker Cat back. Acell 300+ Ford SVO #42 Green top injectors

Motor and tranny have less that 2,800 miles on it.
PCM for less tune.

i'd probably take the whole motor, or at least heads and intake. also how much for the front qa1's and springs because i'd prolly grab thos etoo, or just those if motor isnt quite the right price. thanks man, if u want you can email me prices and more infron erthcris1s@aol.com. o yah i forgot to ask whats the combustion chamber size for heads?

Not too sure on prices. I have to look at my paper work and decide what I can let parts go for, if I part it. I'd like to sell the motor as a whole. I may have to part it out if no one wants car or whole motor. I don't plan parting out a bolt from this or that. I want to sell parts as a group or package. IE all 4 shocks and not one.
Hooker 2231 LT are Jet hot coated. They have a leag in the o2 bung so I will be getting them fixed under warranty. I will be sending them back to Jet Hot before or after I get the car Dynoed with wide band o2 readings and data logged on laptop. Header will be like new again.
Y-pipe was $250.00 and reducer was $25.00 new. Y-pipe is welded together which cost me some money at the exhaust shop.
Hooker Cat back I pipe is in the garage not used too much. Muffelr section is on the car.

The car is pretty fast. It will brake the rear end loose at 50MPH with WOT.

Im not sure what I'd take for the whole car. I spent more time building than driving. Thats why it so hard to decide if I want to part it sale it or Keep on working on it.
I just got a laptop for the car and the ability to data logg.
I plan on Dynoing the car in the near future.
I wanted to get headers recoated and new gaskets first but I may need to go ahead and dyno it first. Then do the headder work.
I bought the car for $7,500 back in Dec 00 The last 2 year I have drove the car mayne 14,000 miles. I love the car but Im tired of spending money.
Right now Im looking at a $100.00 for a dyno session.
Then I 'll need to get the headers removed and installed again.
Change the fuel rail to a dual feed system with a new Press Reg.
Install the Delteq. remove Acell 300+
Change the plugs
change oil to Moble 1 since brake in will finally be compleat.
Then I'd like to dyno it again to see how it is running.
From there I'm looking at getting a custom dyno tune. That will be $$$.
I'd like to take it to the track a few times and get some times.
If some one was willing to pay me for the car plus 90% of the parts I'd sell it. The last time I added up the reciept it was around $19,000 in upgrades. and the car was $7,500. So I don't think anyone would want to buy the car unless they want a fast beast that only needs fresh paint and some new tint. The car may even need a cage depending on the times.
