JE 383 turbo pistons, 4340 H-beams
Going Gen III/IV:
I've got a set of JE extreme duty turbo pistons (premium 2618 alloy, not the cheap "value brand" 4032 SRP stuff) installed on a set of 5.850" 4340 Scat H-beams. These are new pistons and rods that have been installed in a spare LT1 on a stand, with zero run time. The pistons have TS1 rings on them filed to fit my bores ... buyer can use the rings or toss them for a better set.
Specs:
4.030" bore, ~30cc dish, for a 3.75" stroke and 5.850" rod length. Killer setup for a forced induction 383 LT1 or gen 1 SBC.
HPE did the pin fitting on the pistons and set them up for ~1000 hp levels. These are the same guys that did Ricks 8.08 second turbo LT1 motor. The pistons and rods totaled over $1000 new - this does not include the price of the rings or the work HPE did.
[Edit] Moved to ebay.
