After dicussing with an expert about this cam, I don't think it is the right one for me, sorry. But here's a ttt for ya

 

Sounds good, this was a great cam for me and I would love to feel it in a 350/355 it would be nutz!!

 

what kind of springs and retainers are recomended for this cam? and how do you think it would do on stock heads? thanks

 

I ran the comp 987's with titanium retainers, which worked great until about 6500rpm. So if you don't plan on spinning further than that, it would be a good setup. If you want to spin higher, you should either go with 26918 beehives or 977's, but if you go with the 977s you might want to look into a set of Morel lifters.

The cam would work fine with stock heads, and expect peak power output to be similar to, if not slightly better than, a GM847 with better bottom end.
