LE2 cam for sale
I have a Joe O cam from July of 04 that I ran for a few thousand miles, and it just came out to swap out to the BRE setup for the SuperVic. I have the cam card which will be given to the buyer. Serious buyers can PM for basic specs.
The cam looks very new, you can see the path that the rollers were on, but there is no ridge. The bearing journals look like new.
The cam is out of the car in a box ready to ship.
Anyone that would like to hear the car can click the links in my sig. This cam would be awesome in a 350/355 for lots of top end, and it worked great in my 383 with a real wide powerband which peaked around 6100rpm.
It made 413rwhp 390rwtq through a heavy Moser 9" which is said to eat an additional 3% over a GM 7.5" 10 bolt. Assuming those figures, with a 10 bolt in the car it could get to 425rwhp and 400 rwtq in this setup. This is no joke of a cam, I just needed something that will better fit with the SuperVic.
This is from the email that Lloyd sent me when I was inquiring about the LE2 heads/cam setup.
Here are the best pics I could get. My real camera died on me so this is from my 'toy' video camera and these are the cleanest pictures that it took.
I have access to a better camera, so if someone needs better pics please just ask.
If someone bought it and thought there was a ridge or something, I would certainly work with them but I assure you that the lobes and journals are as smooth as glass.
BTW, this is a billet cam. If someone wants all of the original pictures that I took, I am more than willing to send those out, but they are kinda blurry.
I am asking $250 shipped, ready to ship out today!

LE2 cam pulls from 2200 to 6400 RPM and should make 400-420 RWHP with matching heads, 30-36 lb injectors, 52-58 mm TB, 1 3/4 LT's, no cats, GOOD tuning, etc. The heads are ported and machined for larger Ferrea 2.00/1.56 valves, Comp 987 dbl springs, TITANIUM 10 degree retainers, locks, locators, milling, cleaning and assembly. These will flow about 270/190 with a 205 cc intake port. Heads and cam are $1600 (plus shipping) and will need GOOD tuning. This has the RPM range of the CC 306 cam but will make more HP and TQ at peak and across the board. The REAL difference will be the LE2 cam will make TQ in the 2500 RPM range and the cc 306 doesn't start until way past this. It will make more HP than the cc 306 at ALL RPM's.
