i've got a t-56 in my 98z i'm looking to sell. Before i go on, let me say:

THIS TRANS NEEDS TO BE REBUILT. The 1-2 shift fork is bent, and subsequently the 2nd gear synchro may also be damaged.

That said, the trans has about 50k on it. Included with it are the master and slave cylinder, flywheel, zo6 clutch disc and pressure plate, Hurst Pro 5.0 shifter with stock upper shift handle, and a shifter ball.

If someone would like to supply me with a set of A4 pedals, the t-56 pedals will be included as well.

The center console cover plate for the t-56 is also included, i will knock some off the total price if you trade me an A4 shifter plate.

As of right now, the trans is still in the car, and it's still very driveable. If under heavy load, the trans will shift good into second, but under light acceleration it grinds and pops out of gear. This happens also when attempting to powershift.

I can throw in a stock driveshaft if anyone wants that as well.

Price is 600 with everything (except the pedals, unless you have a set of A4 pedals to trade)

Price with shift plate to trade is 550, price with shift plate AND stock auto shifter is 500.

I can work with you a bit on prices and shipping, but be warned, shipping this will not be very cheap. Be looking at no less than 150 to ship it anywhere.

I need a shifter plate, shifter, cable, and dipstick and tube for an auto ls2 car, so if anyone has any of that for outright sale, let me know.

At this time i am NOT parting the setup out. It goes as a whole.

is it an aluminum driveshaft? if so, would you sell it by itself and for how much?

 

no it's a steel unit out of a lt1 car. Broke the aluminum one a year or two ago.

OR will trade the whole deal straight up (maybe even plus some cash) for a Yank, Vigilante or TCS 3600-4200 stall converter.
