so with this set up, I can plug into a laptop USB port, and use LT1 Edit? Any other tuning programs compatible?

Do you have LT1 Edit available?
I have a 94 F-bod and am new to PCM tuning.

LT1 Edit cables

I do not have LT1 edit. I dont even have cars that use these cables anymore. any obdI and obdII softwares for GM products listed should work. There are plenty of free programs out there that read info from the car.
