Cool LT1 ATI Procharger - $1800

SOLD!!!!!!!

I bought this because I was going to get rid of my Vortech and use this instead. However, due to incoming cold weather, I must sell this and buy another car for my DD.

System:
LT1 kit

ATI P-600B head unit, brackets, ducting, air filter, BOV, etc. This is a non-self contained system (meaning the oil circulates through your engine). I prefer this because your oil can be cooled down before it hits the supercharger. It does not come with a fuel management unit or external fuel pump. Most people ditch this stuff anyway and go with bigger injectors and a tune.

2 core Procharger intercooler.

Pulley and belt for 10-11 psi. Pulley for 6 psi (you would have to get a belt from Autozone or somewhere [like $10])

The head unit was rebuilt 500 miles ago. The guy I bought it from only sold it because he needed the money. He was running 11psi and a 150 shot on a stock engine and it cracked a piston (I wonder why? ).

I am looking to get $1800 for this. Very very good deal on a procharger, they are generally about 4 grand new. I am not sure exactly how much hp this will add to a stock engine, but I know it will put you over 400 rwhp on a stock/bolt on LT1 (with the small pulley).

Will

Edit:She's now on eBay for a $2k buy it now. Get in touch with me if you want to buy the charger direct from me and I will make it cheaper than the $1999 price I have it listed as.

I will have to take some this weekend. The blower is at the shop and I am at college .

Everything is there I believe except the FMU and fuel pump, maybe some random clamps...head unit is in great shape and spins nicely with no unnecesarry noises.

are you serious? You didn't know that superchargers use blow off valves?

They are also somtimes called bypass valves.

lol it's all good!

Jazsun, yes you need to tap the oil pan (which I didn't think was very hard). All you do is knock a hole in it and run the tap in the hole so that it gives you thread, it's pretty straightforward.

As far as installation time, Procharger claims about 8 hours (I believe) for intercooled systems. I haven't installed this on my car, I have to sell it so I can buy a winter beater .

blow off valves realease teh boost so u dont have it when its not needed, ie at idle do u really want teh full 10lbs of boost, i think not , also it helps keep ur idle steady so ur idle doesnt keep changing (like how a big cam moves teh idle)

hey i could be wrong but whos says u cant learn anything from speed tv hehe

thats right, plus you dont want 10psi jamming into a closed throttlebody.

Re: LT1 ATI Procharger - $1800

Thanks Chad. TTT.

If I can't get this thing sold soon I might just ebay it, I know I could get quite a bit of $$$ from eBay, I am just too lazy to mess with it right now.

Pics are coming soon, I haven't been able to make it back to take any yet.

*Also, oil lines and filter relocation are included with this kit.

check out this ebay auction for the same basic kit:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PROCH...20570035QQrdZ1

Mine doens't come with a MSD BTM (about $100 on ebay), or a fuel pump and FMU (which most people don't end up using).

I would say this is a pretty good deal...

Pics will be up soon.
