Let me take a measurement tomorrow and I'll let you know by Monday. I'm trying to cheat on making a crossmember for my 6 speed S10 project.

Oh man I could really help you out there if you were not so far away! I swap LT1's into everything including and mostly S-10s

Here is one I just finished today, a 95 Vet LT1 and Camaro T-56 combo into a 1977 Stingray;

Nice work there. I'm just doing a simple small block swap with a little twist or two. If you've done a 6 speed S10 before, what kind of cross member is the best to use?

Hey cool job your doing there! the easiest way on an S-10 is to use the original S-10 cross member, cut off the tranny perch from the front of the crossmember and weld it on the back side of the crossmember. Then slot the bolt holes on the crossmember and frame where they bolt to the frame to move the whole cross member rearward as you need to move the engine as far back as you can for radiator clearance. You can weld extra metal on the perch to move it further rearward too, (the perch is where the transmission mount bolts on.)

Ok How much for everything combined. My address is 131 Bridge Street dedham MA 02026 I am near Boston. Let me know a total and I can paypal money asap. I am piecing together a conversion because I bought a mcleod clutch assembly with steel flywheel for my street racer. I am getting an almost new probably better then new rebilt M6 and coinverting it. If you have any info on conversion let me know too. You mention sheet metal ? Did you just cut the boot p[art off with part of the car still attached? Just wondering. Also what are the switches that you mentioned. Thanks for your time and hopefully we can work somthing out quick and easy*!

Hey how does $125 shipped sound?

also, the trans tunnel is most of the trans tunnel, the whole hump on the floor, most pro swap shops weld them in when you do a conversion so its almost as if the car is factory six speed. the auto holes in the tunnel are different, patching them up well looks like patching them up. Some want it too look factory, so we get the tunnels for these people who want it when we do swaps.
